“Corruption in Ukraine: What has changed over the last two years?”
June 15, 2009, 10.30 -11.30, Informational Agency «UKRINFORM» ( 8/16 B. Khmelnytskoho street) – ACTION Project will present results of the third National Survey on the State of Corruption in Ukraine.
The complex survey is the largest and most sophisticated measurement of corruption in Ukraine’s history and goes into tremendous detail to study how corruption changes over time. It allows for an unprecedented depth in the understanding of corruption and moves away from simple perception and rumor-based studies. The results compare three surveys on corruption between 2007 and 2009 to monitor corruption trends over time and will be released for the first time at the presentation.

The Round Table “Who Spends the State Budget Subsidies? Monitoring results“

Khrystynivka NGO Protects the City from Illegal Construction Activity
In the summer of 2008, the ACTION Project provided support to a construction-focused public anti-corruption advocacy network, consisting of 5 NGOs. The coalition aimed to analyze existing Ukrainian legislation pertaining to local city planning regulations, the allocation and use of land plots for construction purposes, and conduct civic monitoring of local government authorities.
