Author’s position and qualified management permit Dzerkalo Tyzhnia publish popular journalist investigations

Ten out of 17 editors- participants of the project «Increasing the attractiveness of journalistic investigations to modern Ukrainian media» expressed their desire to pay a visit to editorial office of the newspaper Dzerkalo Tyzhnia. 

Ukrainian Association of Periodic Press Publishers and ACTION organized the visit on December 1, 2008.

On December 9, 2008 commemorated to the annual International Anti-Corruption Day ACTION Project will award best journalists!

 The Award Ceremony of the Second National Contest on the Best Journalistic Investigation and Anti-Corruption Publication in Ukraine will be held on December 9, 2008 at 19:00 at the address: 22 Yaroslaviv val str., Radisson SAS conference hall.

The Ukrainian rural population suffers the most from corruption, since people’s access to useful information and legal consultations are limited by the remoteness of their communities and lack of proper infrastructure, which would otherwise protect them from the lawlessness of public servants. 

Center for the Ukrainian Reform of Education (CURE) announces that it no longer accepts works for the Second National Contest on the Best Journalistic Investigation and Anti-Corruption Publication in Ukraine conducted with ACTION's support.
