Between 2007 and 2009 Promoting Active Citizen Engagement in Combating Corruption in Ukraine Project (ACTION) jointly with the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted three national household surveys to measure citizen attitudes toward and experience with corruption. Their purpose was to monitor trends in corruption during the period in which the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Threshold Country Program was being implemented in Ukraine. The first survey, conducted in early 2007, created a baseline for comparing interim results obtained during the early 2008 survey and the final data collected in early 2009.
Between June 15-25, 2009 ACTION Project held 24 regional press-conferences, where the study was presented in the regional aspect of each oblast.
