Promoting Unitary State Register of Court Decisions Network
The purpose of the project of the Eastern-Ukrainian Ñenter of Public Initiatives is to monitor the state electronic register of court decisions, focusing on its content, usability and openness for the public. Monitoring relates only to court decisions made by courts of general jurisdiction and administrative courts of all levels throughout Ukraine.
Tasks of the projects:
· Elaborate methodology and instruments for monitoring;
· Make an inquiry as to the number of court decisions as of April 1, 2009, made by courts of general jurisdiction and administrative courts of all levels (approximately 700);
· Conduct four waves of monitoring of the number of court decisions accessible in the state electronic register of court decisions for every court in order to trace growth dynamics;
· Prepare an analytical report based on the results of monitoring the state register of court decisions;
· Conduct public information events through the mass media after each wave of monitoring with the aim to disseminate information on the state of the register and making the public aware of the state register of court decisions and data it contains;
· Analyze results of the project and prepare recommendations on enhancing existing practices of making entries into the register.

Expected results:
An elaborated methodology and instruments for monitoring the condition (state, status) of the state register of court decisions;
Evidence as to openness or limited access to courts through received data on the number of court decisions made as of April 1, 2009, by the courts of general jurisdiction and administrative courts of all levels (approximately 700);
Conduction of four waves of monitoring of the number of court decisions accessible in the state electronic register of court decisions for every court in order to trace growth dynamics;
Analytical report prepared based on the results of monitoring the state register of court decisions;
Disseminated information on the state of register after every wave of monitoring;
Public awareness-raising events on the state register of court decisions and information it includes;
Recommendations prepared on enhancing existing practices of making entries in the register.
