Advisory Board Print E-mail

Main purpose of establishment of Advisory Board is to involve competent and experienced representatives from different sectors in lending their expertise and counsel to the project in order to ensure its successful implementation. 

 

Members of Advisory Board 

Citizens of Ukraine or other countries that live and work in Ukraine can be members of the Advisory Board. They should:

  • Share the Project mission and values.
  • Have desire to cooperate with the ACTION project as members of its Advisory Board.
  • Have no conflict of interest created by serving on the board (e.g. be affiliated with organizations that apply for grants to ACTION).

 

Competencies of Advisory Board 

ACTION Advisory Board is a consultative body. Main competencies of Advisory Board include:

  • Participation in the discussion of ACTION strategy.
  • Analysis of project activity for previous periods.
  • Provide recommendation and proposition for ACTION activities and future developments and plans.
  • Promote the project in state and other institutions.

 

Responsibilities of the Advisory Board members 

Responsibilities of the Advisory Board members include:

  • Participation in meeting of Advisory Board.
  • Participation in the discussion of ACTION strategy, development of recommendation and proposals for ACTION activities and plans.
  • Receiving and dissemination of information about ACTION activities.
  • Representing themselves as ACTION Advisory Board members at any events that are not damaging for the project image.
  • Provision of expert support in those issues they are competent in, as requested by ACTION staff.
  • Support ACTION cooperation with other interested parties, state institutions, civil society organizations, mass media, etc.

Advisory Board members may withdraw their membership any time by informing ACTION management. ACTION might also exclude members of the Advisory board from the Board if there is a conflict of interest or in the case of inaction of a Board member.

 

Organization of work of Advisory Board 

Meeting of Advisory Board takes place on a quarterly base. Information about date of a meeting is sent to the Board members three week prior an approved schedule. 

ACTION personnel is responsible for organizing of a meeting, preparation of necessary documents and other support to members of Advisory Board while acting as members of ACTION Advisory Board.

Advisory Board members do not receive any compensation for their services on the Board.
